Professor Regan’s… Diet Clinic
After having watched Professor Regan’s take on the multi-million pound diet industry on Thursday night (16th April), I come to the conclusion that I keep ranting and raving about. “Exercise and eat fresh food”. Although she does discuss that some processed food may be beneficial, I still feel that preparing your soup at home would be far better than any tin soup. As for the supplements, well what can I say. If you are taking as much supplements as the two ladies in that programme then you could be wasting as much as £3000 a year. You are better off opening an mini cash ISA. There are no diet pills and if they did work then there would only be one product on the supermarket shelves. Research done by majority of the supplements and food companies are a total puzzle. A puzzle that is meant to appeal to the majority of people. Media then generally jumps on the band wagon and give it more publicity that it truly does not deserve. Having said that I applaud Professor Regan’s attempt to explain the truth and embarking on a journey that I hope people must take heed of this programme’s suggestion. If you had missed it then play it on BBC iPlayer.
