Olympic is widely used by athletes to improve power and strength for their respective sports. For all of those who have been taught to “jump” the weight up (I include myself in this group), it is worthwhile to investigate the “CATAPULT TECHNIQUE” which has been advocated by Coach Don McCauley. Although I am not an expert on Olympic lifting to his degree, I am open to suggestions. Check out the youtube videos below and make up your own mind.
