Every athlete in their respective sport, knows that the the race, the fight or the match is won or lost on the training ground before its ever won or lost in the stadium or the in ring.
Any sporting success is result of discipline training and huge amounts of sacrifice. It show real strength when you sacrifice everything for a dream that only you can see. No amount of enthusiasms on the big day can ever make up for deficiencies in training and preparations.
And over the years I have realised all this has huge amounts in common with everyday life. We are all given opportunities its up to us if we want to take it, and work hard in order to attain all that we want to attain. Be it, a better family life, a better job, more improved spiritual outlook as a whole or on a a physical plane a better athlete.
Real success, in fact all success, is all one of the same and it boils down to the following thing, discipline and hard work. There really is no substitute.
“The repeating factor of my life have been, APPLICATION, DISCIPLINE, FOCUS & REPETITION.” Henry Rollins
