Why do I succeed?

I succeed because I am willing to do the things you are not.
I will fight against the odds.
I will sacrifice.
I am not shackled by fear, insecurity or doubt.
I feel those emotions—drink them in and then swallow them away to the blackness of hell.
I am motivated by accomplishment, not pride.
Pride consumes the weak—kills their heart from within.
If I fall, I will get up. If I am beaten, I will return.
I will never stop getting better. I will never give up, ever.
That is why I succeed

We all measures success differently. To some, its having a fast car, a big house, a yacht in south of France. And some its all about the biggest high, the competition, the winning, climbing Everest.

To me, success is measured by my level of happiness, which is determined by my willingness and ability to meet the small daily goals I set for myself. Having my family around me, my wife, my child, my dog and great friends brings be great joy and that to me is success. My daily struggle with my training and overcoming them is another success on a daily basis. So to me my success is my family, friends and the daily grind I love to embrace.

Whether it’s accomplishing a physical goal like the Ironman, winning your strongman competition for the first time or a small business, each one started with the first step. Its ultimately boils down to, How badly do you want it? Because its your willingness to overcome your fears and facing them, getting up again and again  and again if needs to, that is what will bring you success.

What is your definition of success?
And are you willing to do whatever it takes to succeed?
How bad do you really want it?
